The Fanny Pack Revolution

Whenever I think of a fanny pack I think of a mom at a garage sale, it may be because that is the only time my mom ever wore a fanny pack. But as I delve further into the different styles that have been created for this year's runway there is so much more to work with. It is no longer just limited to the basic black canvas material there is so much more colors, styles, fabrics, etc. that make it a lot more user friendly.

But with their frightening past it can still be hard to know how to style. So follow these few tips and you will be sure to rock the world with your classy not trashy fanny pack.

What to Pair

Avoid sweatpants at all cost they will make your whole outfit look cheap and appear that you don't care(even if you do). Pair with some nicer items like skits or dresses. The formal look of them will make your outfit look purposeful and put together. Plus if you are still not 100% keen on this trend, the fanny pack doesn't need to be the focal point of the outfit let it just be an accessory like any normal purse or belt.

The Perfect Pouch
It is pointless to pair a ratty old basic fanny pack with a dress or skirt if all it will do is degrade the outfit. If you click on the picture there is a whole list of great fanny packs, if they are just not doing it for ya, don't sweat it, do your homework and find the one that fits your style.

Finishing Touches

Keep it light in simple with the accessories, although the pack might not be the focal point of your outfit it is still part of it. Regular purses are off to the side, but these are front & center (depending how you wear it). So simple dainty bracelets or necklaces are a must. As for shoes it really depends on how you are feeling, just promise me one thing, keep it new and fresh.

Let me know if you stepped out of your comfort zone and tried this daring trend.
P.S. sorry this is a little late, my allergies have been slowly killing me this month and I didn't want to post something that had only half effort.
