The openness and greater acceptance has become a new trend on it's own, although there is a lot more to conquer on this long bumpy path we started with our single step. I do not mean to belittle a single person by calling a part of their life a trend because being who you truly are lasts a lifetime and brings a happiness that can not be recreated. But in the fashion world a trend is the word that is used to describe a change and a new mass following. Although it may not be the best word to use in this instance it is the only one that comes to mind and I am content with it because a group of loving people changing their ways and constantly allowing newcomers is better than a complete isolation of a group. No change. No gain.

I recently just came back from a month away in Europe, my first stop being the city of love. I too had the cliché little girl dream of going to Paris and experiencing it in person surely did not disappoint. Since I have an insane amount of pictures from my trip and have such a difficult time narrowing it down, I figured I would split my pictures up into separate days. The first day I was there was the infamous, Le Tour D'Eiffel.

It is easy to get into a rut when you are a blogger. There is always the challenge of presenting fresh new content that will still appeal to your average audience. As you may have noticed I missed a week of blogging. This is because my anxiety has been the worst it has ever been. While I am not going to go into it, I decided to bring back my Top Pinterest Picks by choosing my top 10 favorite inspirational quotes. Hopefully this will help you put things into perspective (and help me too). 

This Top Pinterest Picks was definitely the hardest for me because I  am a sucker for quotes. I believe that if I read it enough I can start living it and change my life forever. Well this hasn't happened (yet?), but I take a lot of time in choosing my quotes so I love them all. But I challenged myself to narrow it down to 10.

I usually wouldn't this kind of post because I am a strong believer in doing something you love; not for the fame and fortune. That being said I know it can sometimes be frustrating. Frusturating in the sense that you may in fact love what you do, but you want to share it with the World. This isn't the easiest thing. I have been having a bad day today. As you may know I have pretty bad anxiety and that spans throughout the whole summer worrying of losing time and that school will eventually reign down its terror once again. You may be thinking this does not sound like a favorites post, but my mom has told me "Don't dwell on the negative, think about the positive." It sounds easy enough, but instead I find myself pretending to be positive on the outside (most days)and inside, conjuring up every possible scenario that could go wrong. Anyway, I did one of these before for April, but there has been such a huge gap that I am just calling it my favorites because there is not a clear month it all belongs to.

Where have I been? Would you believe me if I told you I was in the middle of a a forest surrounded by mountains in Colorado. Well whether you do or do not, that is exactly where I have been for the past 8 days, completely cut off and I loved it!

August Birchbox Unboxing (The BEST Box I Have Ever Gotten)

One of my favorite times of the month is when my Birchbox arrives. And no I am definitely not sponsored to say this, but I just love trying out new products without "paying" for it. My birthday is close to Christmas so when I got presents it is consolidated into one time period, when I was little I thought it was great! My little 8 year old self would say, "what I don't get for Christmas I will get for my birthday!" Although it didn't really work like that, I now find myself lusting over things and products I want throughout the year and telling myself..wait until Christmas or your birthday, and end up forgetting half of the stuff I want. Its a vicious cycle! So I guess what I am trying to say in this super unneccesarily long snobbish paragraph is that it is like a birthday present every month. Yes I could have simply put it at that, but today I am really in the mood to write/blog and I am trying to test your reading limits...if you made it this far, CONGRATULATIONS you have the whole rest of the blog post to read. If you read my purse essentials post you may have seen that I have a box bag, but that is before I even knew they were growing in popularity (pat on my back). That purse was from forever 21 so it goes to show you don't need high end to rock the streets in style. But in this post I decided to share some of my favorite box bags for you and some tips on styling them (even though it all depends on the type you choose).

Last week I told you guys that I was in Montreal so I decided to share some of the pictures I tok of the beautiful city. I was staying in downtown Montreal which to me wasn't that special since I live in New York City. But the old part of Montreal was breathtaking.

When I did my last Top Pinterest Picks I chose my top 10 favorite hairstyles from my beauty pinterest board, so I am heading back to that board and choosing my top favorite makeup looks.
